  • Veromika Dudarova was a great conductor. Вечная память.

  • In this, the most effective of the four movements, the human voice opposes threats of absolute destruction. Orchestration is brilliant but lacks originality. Knipper shows himself closer to Dmitri Tiomkin in Hollywood than to Shostakovich in Moscow!
