  • One fallacy here: Nuclear energy is as important as renewable energy. Only with a broad non-fossil energy portfolio is it possible to deal with increasing energy consumption and at the same time reducing carbon emissions.

    From the electric grid point of view, nuclear and renewable power are complimentary. Nuclear power serves as base power and renewable power due to its intermittency for peak power.

    I hope politicians will one day stop polarizing energy debates and adopt a broader view.
