Setting up a wormery - Part 3. Adding the worms. Now the worms have had time to settle in their bedding (having left them alone to do that for a couple of hours) they are ready for their first feed! The wormery is a WormWorks wormery, and is set up in our back yard. Composting with worms is a series that shows the setting up and management of our wormery. Future episodes include 'interesting wormy facts' , (including video of them using a usb microscope!) and an episode on how to collect the 'black gold' vermicasted compost, and the use of the rich 'worm tea'.'what to do with the 'worm tea', and 'using the black gold'... Black gold is refering to the incredibly rich end product, the result of your worms have munched their way through your waste, and processed it into something akin to the 'elixir of life'...... (you add it to your growing plants, not eat it yourself!)... and the same with the worm tea...
