Hmmm, the Founding fathers defined a "right" as something that was a fundamental, inseparable part of being a human being - that "rights" were endowed by our Creator and were documented as a permanent guard against government overreach. Now, this progressive / socialist bunch defines "rights" as something the government provides to The People and legitimizes the claim of one person on another. One person's "right" becomes someone else's obligation. That doesn't sound right...

Thank you Mr. Dodd. We've all heard quite a lot about what is collectively considered wrong with this bill but not much about what is considered right. It is good and essential that you emphasize just what ground is being broken and even better that you continue to do that so we can appreciate it. Obviously it is a new starting point with room for improvements and new benchmarks...

With out having a public option does this mean its mandatory to have health insurance from the same greety companies that we have dealt with for years? That dont sound like real health care reform to me!!!
