@MOUNTAINOUS It's the movements done at 0:27 seconds and and the same katana technique in 9:37 into the video. You'd swing your sword straight to your right and then swing it back to the left before sliding it back into the saya (sheath). I've seen it everywhere, so I was hoping you'd know what the motions you made before putting away the katana was called!

Another example is in the Shogun 2 CGI trailer, after the red samurai kills the monk. He does the same katana gestures.
