If that aint country I do not know what is! Great stuff.... I think I would never want to leave to go to work having a pair like that. I would want to go outside and train and play with them.

all i have ever had is labs, and i have always wanted a bloodhound! how are they over all from puppies to adults pretty good dogs?

i mean i live in texas and im on a anch they pretty smart dogs?

Just like any puppy it's a little hard with housebreaking but my 2 hounds are almost a year old and overall I would say they have turned out awesome. Yes, they can be trained but probably not as easily as a lab. I imagine they could probably track better than a lab though.

if you expect them to be like labs, forget it, they are totally different. But if you know what you're getting into, they can be the greatest dogs. Just beware of flying drool, chasing after everything that moves, keep everything out of dog level and about once a month they destroy the house. But if you live on a ranch great! just beware of skunks and porcupines.

Well Said ! My house has been torn apart many times. 3 pillows destroyed in the last week. My Hounds like to play with the laser light and they seem to think it lives in the carpet. Came home the other day to find 5 holes in my burbur carpet from them looking for the laser. Last week I replaced all the carpet in my house with wood floors. :)

Adorable pups, Hounds are the greatest dogs aren`t they!!?? i have a basset and we did a similar thing when he was a pup.
