Atop the dome of St Pauls Cathedral

Getting quite intimate with complete strangers (and their sunburnt arms) in an enclosed space within a metal rail near to the summit of a (can't be bothered to look it up, but very very big) dome.

The views are absolutely amazing. See if you can spot Southwark Cathedral. It is the Southwark Cathedral ringers who are ringing in the background of this video. It is their practice ringing before their test piece in the National 12 Bell Striking competition.

I was up the dome with Mrs Waltzplayer and we duly found more bellringers lurking up there!!

I know the are old style tuned but how classic, In my opinion St Pauls to me is the sound of London at it finest. I do love the sound of 10 11 and 12

I been up there in my teens, I have been up in to the ringing room there very shortly after my brain surgery in 2007. It is lovely view
