'Screensaver' brings forward a reflection about immigration by using images of a popular software.

Screensavers are computer programs originally designed to conserve the image quality of computer displays by filling the screen with moving images when the computers are not in use, nowadays they are primarily used for entertainment.

The film erases the screensaver's whimsical nature to present a view of immigration from the inside. Bermúdez could recognize his homeland in the images, and it is the author speaking as an immigrant in Norway, who irrupts the playfulness of the tropical pictures.

  • I had some photos as screen saver, then there was like a update or something, everything changed from windows vista standard to windwos vista basic, and the computer was all slow. I manage to change it back ( from 16 bits to 32 bits on the screen options or what it is called, but the computer is still slow and the screen saver doesn't work good, the pictures get stuck and all slow, someone knows what's wrong ?

  • nice pictures

  • maybe Michael Moore's edited out video showing Norway as so idyllic should play side by side with this...
