Glen D. Stewart performing GIANT STEPS in the Estonia piano booth with Robbie Gennet, Cory Jacobs, Fred Smith and others. This performance delivers new harmonizations of the song. The performance incorporates left hand bass movements, stride piano, mind separation from left and right hands and two handed octive solos.
I am so amazed at how you play these ferocious lines with two hands at break neck tempo without the time wavering one single iota! Your arrangement of this piece is stunning! Excellent man!

I'm sure you've had lessons with the great Phineas Newborn Jr, who was also good with those two hand runs and all!

All he did was play the head of the song...The solo is the hard part, but Church cats are satisfied with just playing the chords being that they play behind singers 98% of the time. Still good though!
