  • This is America? How can these heartless companies be allowed to continue these "sinful" practices? Wake up people!! We are loosing our country to corporate government. It may be your child next. So sad this is even happening. Congress gets its insurance paid by us "the people" don't we deserve the same?

  • GOD BLESS YOU

  • damn man..i just got a job offer from cigna paying alot more than im making and i'm so tempted to take it but jesus christ i can't sleep at night knowing i turned someones assistance for life down...fml

  • @lrd9999 As for whether a government run HC system would have been more generous, I have my doubts. The US has more liver-transplants per-capita than any country other than Belgium; 4 times that of the UK. Maybe the English just have fewer bad livers, but it's hard to imagine them having 75% less. It's probably easier for a government bureaucrat to declare a treatment "unproven" or unwarranted than a greedy, law-suit-prone, insurance company.

  • Cigna had a strong incentive to claim the transplant was "unproven" ; I can't say if they were wrong or right. MB was paying the bills and was probably calling the shots behind the scenes. But I can say that I wouldn't want to go through millions of dollars of painful treatment with little hope of a recovery. Health insurance should be sold with clearly spelled out policies on this stuff, so people can chose in advance how much they're willing to spend on heroic multi-million dollar care.

  • @tollgs

OH yeah man it's totally hypocritical to want to change a broken system that is killing Americans... WTF is wrong your your brain ... don't be such a selfish prick ...

  • omggg that'sss crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • you're fucking retarded with no grasp on reality.

  • wow. you are soulless scumbag piece of shit. No one loves you. Go watch the O'reilley factor you uneducated fucking cunt.

  • Your right, if I pay for health insurance I'm being unreasonable if I assume that I can use it to save my life. Becuase the health care industry exists to make profits and my need to use what I paid for is out weighed by thier need to not provide things I paid for to maximize profits. Them evil libs!

  • how can she think and remind of 100 year-old history when she had just lost her daughter??? She seems she's fighting for her armenian identity rather than her daughter. Totally irrelavant and hypocritical.
