Really, the venetian lagoon is dying, due to the fact that venetian politicians are buring the truth under contamined sand. Just watch at this video, and try to answer my question "What is the colour of the venetian lagoon? Brown or blue?; There is no time, there are no words. Plaese tell the truth. Death and disability of many workers from various forms of cancer in Porto Marghera near Venice. This is the truth. Pretend truth. All these disruptions increase the erosion that is ruining the depths of the lagoon and eating away at the foundations of buildings.

I'd like to point out that these ships and activities are there to build the MOSE-system, which has to protect Venice from floods. The building contractor has no choice to dig deep and make a temporary mess of the lagoon in order to save the city.
Also, I'd like to mention that there are plans to keep a strict maintenance in the lagoon and its surrounding areas, in order to improve the ecosystem. In 2013 the MOSE system wil be finished, just have a little patience. Damn hippies.
