@silvernode I've never heard Kurt sound bad. Conrad used to sing fine live. But you're right it doesn't bother me either cos he's one of my biggest influences as a songwriter.

What I hear on this is not a singer that can't sing but a singer that cannot hear himself. I would be willing to bet that the monitor mix is terrible or non existent because the rest of the band also sounds awful. The guitar is out of tune and the mix is horrific. In an outdoor venue such as this the band has much less control over how they sound than you would think. This one goes on the engineer - if he's even awake...

That is pretty much what I eventually said. At first I was kinda like....god he sucks live. Then I realized it's about the feeling of the music. He lets go when he sings which I think makes the show better. I mean Kurt Cobain had a good/shitty voice live but it made things better I think.
