The Wire - Marlo's First Appearance

Don't get me wrong, I HATED Marlo, but  you must not have seen the last episode if you think that about him.

Bottom line: that man is crazy, and he got up to where he is for a reason.

dunno about that, in the finale episode marlow just walks up to one dude and asks him what the fuck's he lookin' at do you know who I am?! the dude replies do you know who I am motherfucker and pulls his gun to shoot marlow in the face, marlow just punches the guy in the face and the guy runs away. marlow is one cold motherfucker.

someone else would have just been his 2nd in command and main enforcer. marlo only commits violence twice in the wire but commands snoop and chris . its because hes a perfect drug lord. hes smart , cold , ruthless and can command violent people and use them like puppets
