Wow. Gritty stuff, I thought this was made well, someone else could have really messed up on making this sort of video. It's a good representation of how obsession can turn bad really fast, and some people take it too far.

I have to strongly disagree with you. No form of self-mutilation is "normal". I would never judge somebody who cuts,it doesn't make them a bad person in any way...but it does say a lot about their mental/spiritual state,with an obvious self esteem issue in the mix. Everyone has to deal with pain sometimes...but not everyone cuts. Crying,talking to someone,try to focus on more positive things or just give it time to ease away: those are normal ways to deal with pain. But pain can't heal pain.

If cutting is stupid, coping with emotions is stupid too. that's all it is, it's just a coping method, like drinking, drugs, smoking, writing, or shouting at someone. It's to vent emotions, and some people do it through cutting.
