Einar Bjartur hanging about

Einar Bjartur is one of my favourite pilots. He is only 21 but already among Iceland's best pilots. This footage is captured at the end of summer on our local hill Hafrafell. Einar Bjartur had been grounded for two months (most of our summer) and was enjoying his airtime to the utmoast. Behind him at 00:57 is his dad, Egill, who is the current Icelandic champion. Egill got into PG a year after his son.

When I see him take off or top-land I always get the feeling that gravity does not apply to him or that he is really a bird. He makes it seem so easy and natural.
