i always see people using ladders in this lake to fish , witch is an amazing idea btw, i dont think ive ever seen it before in any other lake .....but, why not just use a boat? unless there is some kind of restriction kinda seems silly to muscle a ladder around a lake in chest deep water , i kinda want to try it tho!

It would be so cool to put some of those beasts in a local river and see the look on someone's face when the catch it.

Killer video man . i just moved to Sparks and have been on the lake and fishing it hard . Just landed what I believe was a ten pounder , nothing to measure it with and no scale to weigh the thing . I was alone at spider point braving 30+ mph winds just in that bay south of the tip of the point . There any way I can send you a photo of it , I just took the photo of it on the ground but the photo does the fish no justice man , I can tell you it was well over 2 feet thuogh .

Those Cutts don't even make sense, unreal!! Great Shot's of amazing fish. Thanks..
The thing I find interesting about the lake is that those fish hit any color beetle , any color wooly . Some colors more than others but there has never been a steady pattern from what I have seen ya know . I think the uglier the conditions out there make for some of the best fishing also . The stormier , windiest nasty lookin days are good and you gotta push yourself to fish in those conditions . What were you guys catching most of your fish on ?

@townshipps Old school black or white woolies! You are definitely right, if you can stand the nasty, cold, windy, rainy days - you will catch more & bigger fish! -trouttrek-

What a fish! A Lahontan Cutthroat tipping a certified scale over ten pounds, witnessed by other fishermen, and released to fight again. The fish of a lifetime for many locals, and certainly the fish of many lifetimes for a non local fisherman.
