more info we were in baghdad in a convoy i was the second vehicle driver this video is taken from other soldiers in an LMTV about 5 vehicles behind me. The explosion hit my door but most of the eplosion didnt penetrate my vehicle.

  • @exyio So basically the different levels of command have a fair amount of discretion over how to interpret the intel on the ground, and how to apply different SOPs imposed by higher level command elements?

  • @nhirata10 Yes and no, the level of aggression in the enemy and the mission of the unit all decides on how they are going to react to IEDs and what distance to remain away etc. each unit is different and is ultimately up to the commander to decide the local SOP dictated by the higher command.
