Ok so my father passed away on July 23, 2009
He died in my arms minutes after snorkeling with my daughter and I.
Watching your best friend go this way, is something I donot wish on anyone..
He was the one person in the world who understood me better then myself.. MY BEST FRIEND!
I made this video with a few photos that I had on here for the last few months of his life. I will make a video montage with alot more of his photos but this is what I had when I got the notion to do this tonight..
The poem on here is a poem I wrote after he died in my journal. There are so many but this one seemed to fit the video.. I titled it Broken

Hope you guys enjoy.
REST IN PEACE DAD! I LOVE YOU SOMETIMES!
(for anyone wondering about this) My dad would hug me and I would say I love you and he would say I love you sometimes and I would say NO YOU LOVE ME ALL THE TIME JUST DONT LIKE ME ALL THE TIME! And he would laugh and say your right I do.

The tattoo at the end is a tribute I had done for him and the name in the heart is his signature...

  • I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish peace to you and your family.

  • @greywolf264 thank you

  • did he drown?

my heart goes to you and your family

  • @SonorenceAl100 No, he had suffered a heart attack in January and had a stent placed, but his heart only functioned at 20-25% and a normal heart functions at 80-85%... He got out of the water and felt light headed, and he got to the top of the stairs at the spring and said this would be a beautiful place to die, and 15 minutes later he died in my arms when he collapsed and had suffered from a major heart attack. I worked on him for over 20 minutes b/c

  • @SonorenceAl100 of the location paramedics couldnt get there sooner and I had to work on him. Unfortunately the CPR wasnt enough, because even after they got his heart going again, he was down in the helliflight for over 45 min, & drs said if he comes back from this, the chances of him even being your dad, speaking, moving, or talking is 3%... He was without oxygen for so long that my mother decided that removing the life support that was breathing & beating his heart was our best option..

  • this is was great....i know how it feels when you lose a loved one....this year my uncle died...he was great...he always played with me and he helped everyone if he could...and the thing is that he died of lung and liver cancer and he laid at home in a hospital bed not responding to anyone...he had to had lots of morphine...it was sad because he really wanted to leave but he couldn't....i still cry when i remember him :(

  • I am sorry you lost your uncle. My dad died suddenly in my arms and its been very very hard on me... I hope that your family finds peace in all of this.. Lots of Love and Prayers for you guys..

  • Wow, I am very, very sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine that happening to myself and I know it must be the hardest thing you have dealt with. My Dad and I go snorkeling all the time and I think I would break down and shut out everone of that happened to me. I wouldn't be able to let go either. I hope you and your family are ok. I hope your father rests in peace knowing that you cared so much about him.
