@flitetest TIL not to buy the HK-500. What does CMT stand for. Constantly maintaing torque tube?

THIS THIS IS TERRIBLE, IT JUST BROKE EVERY FIGHT, WHAT A CRAP HELI
-
this is a terrible model , very unsafe , false advertising saying that it is a 3D model in no way was the helicopter i received a 3D model .. not even close

Great video as always, but the only thing I came away with from this review is that the HK-500CMT is crap. I realize that HobbyKing is your sponsor so you cannot just come out and say that, but I really do appreciate that you kept the failures in the video so that I can make proper decisions

I love your videos they've helped me alot! Keep it up :D

Fixed the TT issue of bad gear meshing.
Its NOT the gears! not the main gear, the auto rotation gear or umbrella gears (all were replaced with Align parts) The Torque Tube Tail Boom Case was also replaced, and STILL bad gear mesh.....So its not the TT!
The fault is with the MAIN FRAME mounting holes and guides. They need to be drilled / dremelled so the case can slide forward (towards the autogear), only 1-2mm. This will give you a PERFECT mesh.
Video coming soon.

Yeah the follow up video might feature the belt, but your extremely confident about the tt issue being looked at and resolved, but its NOT! You pretty much fooled me into buying it thinking it was fixed.
Just got all the Align parts (all the gears and tt), so hopefully it all works.
Not your fault, you guys do a very good job at trying to cover for the HK, but be careful cos you'll loose credibility.
Great videos, great heli.
But the issue is NOT fixed, there is a follow up video claiming the issue has been addressed, but it hasn't, just got mine and and gears don't mesh enough and lumpy, tt bent, same as in the video. Maybe old stock...who knows.

Sorry, this is no review. I built one 500CMT and I know the 500CMT. Its not bad for the price, but you have to do/mod a lot to get it flying safely.
Either the builder did it, and did not talk about it or they/he didn't notice the problem points.
You can read about this problems in the Hobbyking forum.
I really hope, you did not left out all this problem because you are sponsored by Hobbyking?

@ovaross We didn't have time to be as thorough as we wanted. Stay tuned for a follow-up on this review.
Thanks for watching!

You guys should review the Hobby King "EPP-FPV 1.8M Ultra Strong" plane (needs a better name) with FPV equipment installed.
