Many People are unaware of the truth of Birthdays. They ignore the warnings found in Scripture and don't research the Historical writings that show the Pagan origins of Birthdays. The truth is that satan wants people to celebrate their Birthdays as a form of self idolatry and from that lead them into sorcery through horoscopes and astrology charts of personal omens associated to ones birth.

We can see from reading the law and the Prophets found in Scripture, that when related to birthday celebrations, we can understand why neither Yehshua, nor His Apostles, nor their true followers, observed their birthdays.

(Genesis 40:20-22). Example of Birthday Wickedness
Now it came to pass on the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand. But he hanged the chief baker

(Matthew 14:6-11)

But when Herod's birthday was celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod. Therefore he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. So she, having been prompted by her mother, said, "Give me John the Baptist's head here on a platter." And the king was sorry; nevertheless, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he commanded it to be given to her. So he sent and had John beheaded in prison. And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.

(Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Talks about Birthday Horoscopes
There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to אהיה your Elohim.

(Isaiah 47:13-14). Warning about Horoscopes
You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators Stand up and save you From what shall come upon you. Behold, they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them; They shall not deliver themselves From the power of the flame.

Ecclesiastes 7:1 A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

The giving of birthday gifts is a custom associated with the offering of sacrifices to pagan gods on their birthdays. Certainly the custom was linked with the same superstitions that formed the background for birthday greetings. The exchange of presents is associated with the importance of ingratiating good and evil fairies on their or our birthdays (ibid.).

The traditional birthday cake and candles also have their origin in ancient pagan idol worship. The ancients believed that the fire of candles had magical properties. They offered prayers and made wishes to be carried to the gods on the flames of the candles. Thus we still have the widely practiced birthday custom of making a wish, then blowing out the candles. The Greeks celebrated the birthday of their moon goddess, Artemis, with cakes adorned with lighted candles...

The first century Israelite historian Josephus noted that Israelite families did not celebrate birthdays:

Nay, indeed, the law does not permit us to make festivals at the birth of our children, and thereby afford occasion of drinking to excess (Josephus. Translated by W. Whiston. Against Apion, Book II, Chapter 26. Extracted from Josephus Complete Works, Kregel Publications, Grand Rapids (MI), 14th printing, 1977, p. 632).

Now although there is no specific command against the celebration of birthdays in Scripture, the Israelite custom in those days was apparently based on the negative occurrences in Scripture surrounding birthdays, as well as the astrological implications of the celebration of birthdays (pagan practices, like astrology, were specifically prohibited in the law).

REPENT From Celebrating Birthdays.

  • @DawahAlamin Well his father isn't Allah, the false God that you believe in. Go to jesus-is-savior(dot)com and search Islam exposed ...Islam originates from pagan moon worship.

  • Thats a clear lie. Why? Because what do Arab Christians and Jews call God? = Allah. Allah is actually an older word than God. The word God was created in the 6th century in Christian Germany. God is not a name, its a word applied to an object of worship. Whats God's name? Not Jehovah, when Jesus is supposedly on the cross, he says "Elah, Elah, lama sabachtomi". Thats hebrew, which translates to "Allah, Allah, lama sabachtomi" in arabic. Sound similar?

    Ya Allah hu

    Allah hu ya

    Allehuya

    read.

  • @DawahAlamin Islam originates in pagan moon worship!

  • I swear by Allah that your religion is falsehood, you will find out the truth and reality on the day of judgement.

  • @DawahAlamin No, God wouldn't let that happen. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

  • @DawahAlamin There's no Allah, you are in a false religion, it's of Satan. There's nothing you can do to bring me over to Islam. I've seen Jesus, I don't need your opinion on it. Many others have seen him too. He and/or his father decides if he wants to appear to people, I think.

  • You have a long way to go. You need to know the authorship behind the new testament to understand. Its not the word of God. Its the word of historians, according to those names. You need to understand what the biblical scholars say about the authorship of the NT. Dont be a blind follower. May Allah guide you to the straight path

  • @DawahAlamin 1 John 2 18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

  • @DawahAlamin Yes he died, and he conquered the grave. I don't believe you, you are deceived by Satan and it's sad.

  • But when am I going to get cool stuff then?
