@jbama82 I know exactly what you mean, but look up the lyrics. Trust me I used to be like "Punk is just bullshit yelling and horrible guitar", but then I just stopped the bias looked up the words and I was amazed how deep they can get. Like I'd never thought I'd listen to punk and be like "Damn this shit is good" After I read up on the Germs and stuff like that I started to LOVE it. I ain't even a punk I'm more of a rap kid myself but you can't deny stuff.

The Germs were the shit.... every time they played everyone met at OKI DOGS in hollywood, afterwards... I think it was on sunset bl, mohawks, skins, poles, leather, spiked wristbands, homemade clothes, clove cigarettes.. we'd hang in the parking lot and drink beer, snort beauties, and eat oki dogs and fries. best food I ever ate. (an oki dog was a burritto wrapped in an xl tortilla and had two beef hot dogs, pastrami and chili and cheese) so good..It was a cool place for a late nigh pit stop

Punk was never about sounding 'good' it has always been centered about meaning which lies within the lyrics, it can be hard to adjust from clean vocals to punk, so start off with bands like bad religion and pennywise before jumping straight into the raw power that is the germs.

@jbama82 This is not the best track to start with if you want to get into the Germs guitarwork. The vocals though are pretty much the same in all of the songs, so it's just a hit or miss thing
