Shark Kills Swimmer in California

Authorities near San Diego say a shark on Friday attacked and killed a swimmer who was training in the ocean off San Diego County with a group of triathlete. (April 25)

@inbredagogo @morningbirdfeeder Firemen always "dress out" whenever they are called to a scene to include their helmets.They are usually the first responders to any kind of emergency (not just fires) because they have trained paramedics assigned to the Fire Department. They usually respond faster than any ambulance and you want them there in a medical emargency. Some fire departments have personnel trained as "rescue swimmers" as well.

So apparently this guy was swimming with a group of swimmers, and there was a group of swimmers out in the water and he was swimming with the group. That's a very sad thing that happened to the victim, but what's even sadder is this guy posing as a fireman complete with a Fire Chief's helmet when there is no fire.
