Leviticus says a lot of things. Like, that women are unclean after childbirth and should be shunned from society for a period after having a child. That period is longer if she has a baby girl.

The Bible also recommends we stone adulterers, which if actually carried out, would have caused me to make millions in the limestone industry. The fact of the matter is that we don't live in ancient Israel, and while I myself am not a vegetarian, I do think that the animals we eat should at least be killed in the quickest and most humane way possible to spare them any fear and suffering. And while that sentiment might not be in the Good Book, I doubt God will be casting a nay vote against it.

When animals stop eating each other i will stop eating meat but until then. But in no way shape or form am i saying that this is ok this needs to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why yes, yes I am. And by terrorist I mean an individual interested in preserving the well being of the *entirety* of God's creation, including seals. I'm sure I could go beat my dog to death and eat him as well, but then again, the Lord was benevolent enough to bless us with logic and reason. Go eat a hamburger, where at least the cows aren't being clubbed to death to make a meal.
