@killer2600 I was. I was over the road for a month before I worked for a Target D.C. in WI. I remember being stuck in Indy for a night because the truck needed a pm. Three days later, I lost another load because I was stuck in Springfield, OH due to overhead work and it took them an entire weekend to get it taken care of. This was two weeks after I had started with them. Nothing but bad experiences here.
@MonkeyBallZ214 Uh nope, true to werner form after getting off the trainers truck I never visited a terminal other than indy, which has no safety lane, for over a year. The only difference btw me and the other drivers is I put in over a year, had a good dispatcher, ran canada, and knew some key people well. I did drive old trucks my first year but after that I was blessed with removing plastic off the seats of brand new trucks. I never worked the system though, just put in my time and did my job
@killer2600 Or maybe you were at a hub that was constantly visited by the CEO, DOT, and OSHA. I will say though, at least they didn't pick an ironic name like "Swift" for trucks that are not.
@MonkeyBallZ214 I can't speak about Covenant but my Werner truck was very well cared for and fixed when requested. Maybe I was special, I did get 8 new drive tires out of them.
@MonkeyBallZ214 I worked for Werner and I have to agree with you. They really do not care one iota about their drivers and their trucks are HORRIBLE. I was issued a truck that had trailers tires on the drive wheels just so it could stay on the road.
After this did they have a flip-flop and sweat pants competition? Dirt bag companies that hire dirt bag drivers. How do you race something that only goes 64mph?
Wow. It's like the game, "Who's the smartest retard?". Both are crappy companies to their employees and take minimal care of their trucks and drivers. At least, that's what we see in TN.

@336kgf You must be one of the unlucky ones. I drove brand new trucks that were well maintained and repaired on request.

The larger view would show the pile of traffic behind you waiting to pass both of the slow ass pieces of shit.
