Try and anchor your thumb even if you float it up and down the strings,your mistakes are because of your bad picking hand and nothing else,you have nothing to push off of when,and your fingers keep getting caught up on the string. If you dont learn now your technique will suffer and your notes will not sound even,notice all the differences from not to not,its because of bad technique,if its not relearned it will only get worse. just tryin to help,take it or leave it.

tamnabo, Where did you get the notes for that song?? which website?? I live in Winnipeg Manitoba and im playing that song live infront of 2000 people at the convention centre and im playing the bass for funk 49!!! , please tell me where you learned that???

@JerkinIsWhatWeDoBest - A couple of years ago I took lessons briefly and my teacher had a classic rock bass play along tab book. I don't remember the name of it though, sorry!
