The image is taken from 2001: A Space Odyssey, a film that features Strauss's 'An der schönen blauen Donau' (Blue Danube Waltz). This being in 'valse' tempo, I'd assume that's the connection being made? Just a guess though :)

I'm tempted to say "Yes! Indeed! Of COURSE that's why I associated the picture with this piece!", but the uninteresting reality is that I merely chose a picture at random so the viewer wouldn't have to stare at a blank screen.

the first 4 notes of the movement are Bb-A-C-B which in german would have written as B-A-C-H.
