Lemon took the phone back and cancelled my contract. took a powerful letter to achieve that.
Now had the htc hero for a week. Brilliant phone. I can read everything on the Internet, zoom is brilliant, the android program market has loads of free apps. Lots of them really useful too. The touch is silky smooth and is all finger driven. Its like a mini iphone.

dont panick , hopefully for your sake a software update will sort of most issues u have with the phone with more power options to suit your needs

did he compare the thickness of this phone to 3 slide out qwerty phones...yes I would think this phone would be thinner than those...

its more about the software than the hardware, i have put spb mobile shell 3.0 on mine and it is as responsive as a capacitive screen, i also put on the touchpad keyboard-best i've ever used. as for screen switching of, most phones do that, just touch one of the soft keys at front(home button) and it comes on. you just need to play around with the phone to know what it does, but i understand how frustrating it is out of the box, with these modifications, its a very good phone-not the best!!

I currently own this phone. Trying to give it back to Orange shop in Worthing. Pretty much told after 3 days to forget it they don't take phones back!! In fairness the customer service are flabbergasted the manager of the store refuses to take the phone back.
Why take it back? Phone volume is too faint. Screen switches off during call after seconds; you lose the number pad as well. Landscape keyboard is useless, restance touch requires a lot of pressure thus causing errors, its stylus dependant.
