can you switch the camera from the back of the car to the front or does it do it on its own? also do you ever have any problems during thunderstroms?

It does it by its self. The first two years directv did this they had interactive audio, but they don't do that anymore. There are 4 channels each cup race, each featuring a different driver's audio and video. Dale Jr. is usually on each week. We usually don't have problems with the satellite going out in storms, unless it is really bad.
