Shootin new long bow

I just got the bow the day before this and i really have not shot a long bow or recurve since i was the age of 9. So ya i hit the target just not the deer part of the target. I was around 20 yards away. Just to let people know, i had no sights and long bows r based on instinct shooting

why?

when i started shooting i had a 68" longbow with really fat limbs and 20lbs drawing weight

now i use a 64" longbow with extremely thin limbs and 50lbs drawing weight

now which one is the real longbow?

it doesn't depend on lenght, thickness or drawing weight, but the shape
