Opeth Blackwater Park Solo, Suhr Modern, Axe FX Ultra

The solo from Blackwater Park recorded direct from Axe FX into Garageband with an IK Stealthplug.

The guitar is a Suhr Modern, the colour is Bengal Burst, the pickups are the Doug Aldrich set.

The amp model used is the Mesa MKIV with delay, reverb and auto-wah.

If you're wondering why my left hand looks a little weird I'm wearing finger protectors because i have a bad nickel allergy, anyway it took a little getting used to but so far it's working out pretty well...and yes i've tried stainless steel strings and frets, but alas it didn't solve the problem :D

Hi man, awesome guitar you got there, the Suhr guitars are a piece of art. It just bothers me that u suffer from some kind of nickel-allergy. Just wanted to tip you about something called "Crystal frets", if you google it, the website of this product should be the first link to pop up. They are also said to sound better than normal frets, with more sustain and such, and if it would help your allergy that would be just great!

Tone doesn't sound right to me, needs to be slightly cleaner, less "funky" if that makes sense
