  • You Americans need to get over your unnatural aversion for nudity. Thinking nudity is somehow wrong... that's just perverted. For whatever reason a lot of you seem to think that it's okay if kids see guns and violence everyday, but when it comes to the natural human body, you find it repulsive and damaging for children Seriously, wake up.

  • : Black girl? Last time I checked Ms Badu was a woman. Something about that statement rubbed me the wrong way.

  • That lady was pissing me off when she kept saying "consequences." Alice Cooper had Erykah's back without making it too obvious as to not cause more opinionated view points like that reporter. He did a good job staying professional about something controversial while that reporter kept pushing him into touchy areas. She picked the wrong guy to interview if she wanted someone to poorly understand or talk about the video. Erykah's a brilliant women, she knew what she was getting into.

  • America has never embraced black sexuality. Fuck them.

  • @zuma7007

    Really?

When I read this I did a double take.

  • I want to see Alice Cooper naked

  • @terrinyc29 EXACTLY!

  • @caseyfornia What I meant by "you Americans" is your culture & media, not individuals. So me of my fav people in the world are Americans. We have the same problem here, people have become so numb after being exposed to violence, so they don't even see it anymore. That's what I meant by quietly accepting it. Thankfully we don't have your (again your media culture, not you) nudity problem, as most Finnish people have seen their family and friends nude several times before they reach puberty. Peace

  • @konsumer77 "Staying quiet"? You know, children everywhere will witness violence away from the tv, just like they'll witness sex away from the tv. I have a problem with children being exposed to many inappropriate things because most don't understand the context of it or why someone is doing it. I wouldn't want my son to be raised to believe it's okay for women to be viewed as sexual objects or to hit unless it's out of self-defense. I think you misunderstood a lot from my last comment.

  • @caseyfornia Staying quiet is basically the same as saying something is okay. Judging from your media and the amount of violence kids get to witness through it, I'd say no, you don't have a problem with exposing children to violence.

And if you open your eyes and watch the news, the TV, the movies, the ads, if you look anywhere, you'll see sexuality being exploited, and most of you are okay with that. But when someone shows a nipple, buttcheeks or genitals, it's suddenly horrible? Please.

  • @konsumer77 I think it's more about exploiting something natural and making it into something perverted, or using nudity to make a point (whatever point that may be). Instead of generalizing by saying "You Americans" (as if this country isn't filled with immigrants and citizens of European descent), see it from the other side of the fence. Nudity isn't wrong. Exploiting it is. And not everyone believes it's okay for children to be exposed to violence. That's just a stupid assumption.
