Organic chemistry: Electrophilic aromatic substitution (EAS) of benzene—halogenation, nitration, sulfonation, Friedel-Crafts alkylation and alkanoylation. Electron-withdrawing and electron-donating groups—activators vs. deactivators, ortho/para-directors vs. meta-directors.

  • @duckie33192 there's a lot of things that we SHOULD be able to 'figure out' but that's why we're here...the mechanism may seem obvious, but then again the obvious isn't always clear

  • @sancoandpanco because if you're learning substitution of aromatics you should be able to figure out the mechanisms by now.

  • Great videos! The only improvement I would suggest is the drawing of the benzene rings...a few were a little messy and confused me.

  • thank you!!!

  • the girls talk wayyy to soft :/

  • Thank you for explaining!

  • u rocks....!

  • @thekeanmoses failed student

  • really who is that one dislike a liberal arts student?

  • yo guys, i could use some feed back on my vids. could you check 'em out?
