@karlmalone11 When an engine only is dyno'd,it is stripped of the power steering pump,fans,water pump,rad,the manifold back is deleted,there is no ac..Think about the power soak of all the above, add into the equation a tcc/clutch,trans,drive line,diff gear,wheels & tyres..
As an indicator,u add half a second at least to your 1/4 mile if you've got your ac on..
@BlueAlchemist No, i don't really think it has that much power....but one question, how on earth do you know how much percentage loss you have in your GTO? The only way to answer that question would be to dyno your car at the wheels, and then extract the motor, and dyno the motor. And 30% is a ridiculous figure.
@BlueAlchemist 650whp is nowhere near 870bhp. Taking into account a 15 % driveline loss, 650whp equates to around 770bhp. Huge difference. And regardless, 870bhp is not high 9 territory.
Let's say an average of 180 pounds for each guy, that's 720 pounds of weight with people. With that being said, I think it pulled quite well. I think this car has more power than you guys are giving it credit for.
my stock 2007 Corvette C6 a6 is faster

@jakev1985, Thats what I was thinking. He must have been driving next to a 650whp gto that they forgot to film.

More...
This car probably doesnt even produce 400 hp at the fly.& if does,i urge the owner to post a vid of him running 650 on the dyno @ the wheel.
Obviously, all cars differ with thier drivetrain loss.Maybe ur mustang is different..?but lets be honest,its slower a than an ls1 so who cares..lol

@karlmalone11
i lose 30% in my gto. its lost through the tcc/trans/prop shaft/diff gear and wheels.
Why should it be any different with this gto?
Besides, do you honestly believe this is 650rwhp? Because i dont.
