Man O War was not entered in the race sweety because guess what :) he coudln't. And I KNOW he was not entered in the kentucky derby but I dont care.. I dont care that much about MAN O War :).

Thanks! Oh yes, and for the person who commented early.. and I deleted it. I KNOW Man O' War didn't win the belmont, I know about funnycide. And um.. we worked with race horses for many years. I think I know about it, a LITTLE bit more than you :).

@hannahclark Man O'War WON the Belmont Stakes AND the Preakness Stakes but he was not entered in the Kentucky Derby therefore he did not win the Triple Crown.

WOW, that pic of Spectacular Bid is strange.. he looks so silver... he always had the strangest color scheme, but it just made all the more lovable. I cried when he lost :(

@ewd76 I agree.Also - the racing industry has a very dirty underbelly - so many Thoroughbreds who don't make it are just shipped for slaughter. And there's a lot of cruelty. We have two rescued Tbreds so we know first hand, and we have learned from experience just what horrific stuff these horses go through.

Why haven't they had winners? Because they're ruining the breed with overbreeding, especially the Tbred foot - look at how many end up foundered. End up chuckwagon horses Calgary Stampede

Why do you bother putting up a video, apologizing for its lack of quality -- and then you get offended when someone points problems out to you? If you've got horses, why aren't you out riding instead of sitting on the computer. You've got a spelling mistake in there. Good grief. Better get rid of the thin skin.

By all rights, Smarty Jones should have won. You can hear the disappointment in Tom Durkin's voice as Birdstone crosses the line. Birdstone's jockey is practically apologizing for having won.
