@EnglishG3nt No they are not they put there lives on the line for the public and have a much more dangerous and impotent role than normal people and with the amount of abuse the police get everyday this should come as something of an outrage does this mean they are scrapping the public orders act it looks like this had something to do with yet another absurd human rights ruling which is making a mockery out of British justice and the country today.

So what happens when the police commit act of violence shall we all arrest them.
-
@EnglishG3nt No, Because the reason you "Can" swear at police is because sec 4a/5 public order doesn't apply to them because they are "officers" and cant be offended because they have been "Trained" to not take offense.
That being said, if you did swear at an officer he would still arrest you but under Sec 5 Public order (if someone else may be offended) either way you get nicked still :P

Yes thats my point, they swear, not necessarily in a malicious context, but they swear like any one else, it's part of their every day language, same as any working class people. So it is a fact that officers swear at the public abusivly sometimes, considering the types of people they sometimes have to deal with. My point is, it's part of their job, and part of life in general; they should just get over it like we all have to.

@KevinJKtheman "All the time" is this from videos you have seen, or from personal experience? I think your overreacting, unless your talking about a protest which you will hear many swear words come from the mouths of Police Officers, but not used to abuse a person.
-
"Tolerate swearing more"? I have seen many Officers tolerate swearing to the point where the average person would have thrown fists. We can't forget that the Police are human, and of course they won't like being sown at.

@Tzimnewman3 Of course we don't have full freedom of speech, if we did then people would be allowed to shout out hate speech towards race, etc
I love your videos by the way :)
Arrest for swearing lol what a pile of shite.

We can call the police whatever we so desire. After all they're citizens, just citizens in uniform. Aren't they...?
