  • I feel terrible for her... I wish I could trade places with her in order to save her... That older lady was really the only friend she had... It was sweet of her to read the Runnaway Bunny to her dying friend...

  • Im rather angry that Emma didn't win any of the awards she was nominated for for this film. Come on... seriously.

  • @tomarkenfan83 Actually, if you have watched the whole film or read the whole play you'd know that Susie, her nurse is her friend, too. This play is about her conquering death by actually peacefully accepting it instead of using her wit or taking 8 cycles of chemotherapy. This is one of the most humane scene in the play/movie. The fact that Vivian sleeps when Ashford finishes reading corresponds to John Donne's "One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally."

  • One of the most touching scenes I've ever seen.

I know a woman who reminds of the older woman in this scene, and it's just all so very emotional for me.

  • Whatever package.. Think what you want.. I care about people and if they are good people then I help them out.. I sure would never help you with your attutude...

  • you are far out of line talking like you know anything about other people

no disrespect to the deceased, this is on you

  • YES I would... Unlike you... have you ever done anything nice for anyone? If I had that power I would have done that for my Aunt that died of cancer.. But Then again you wouldn't give a damn and I hope that you never get that sick. I saw my Aunt go through that and it was hard...
