"In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China, the ROC Centenary Foundation and Taiwan's Council for Cultural Affairs will team up with Adventist Education, the second largest private educational network in North America to introduce Taiwan's culture to hundreds of thousands of American students later this year.

President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九), who launched the program during the press conference applauded the program as an excellent example of the continuing good relations between Taiwan and the United States and welcomed the opportunity for American students to learn about the beauty and diversity of Taiwan."
