@eternement 'Oppressed' (has two Ps btw!!) by whom or what exactly? Two of the three last UK prime ministers (Tony Blair and Gordon Brown) have been Scottish with many in their cabinet also being Scottish. Also, Scotland can vote on English matters whilst English MPs can't. So before you squirt any more ass seepage please do a bit of research and get your facts straight. I have no problem with Scots going independence and wish the country well but I do take offense at the anti-English bullshit!

The Auld Alliance was a matter of convienience for the French. The Versailles government despised the Scots. They did consider Scots to be sub-human and barbaric.

@thehappyhacker1 You only suppported the French whenever England was attacking you, which was hundreds of years ago. In Versailles, the French despised the Scots and were disgusted by your way of life. They respected the English much more as foes than the Scots as allies.

I think Scotland should have home rule, but not leave the British union.

@TheLiberalKnight Scotland has historically supported France against the English hence the Auld Alliance, We have never been united with the English, We have been sold out by our Nobles tme and time again. Scotland would be free within Europe, and not enslaved by the English as it is at the moment, we don't vote Tory here, but we get stuck with a government that we didn't ask for.
