09.98 - Toon Link (Stage 4) [Previous World Record]

ALERT: MAJOR STAGE FOUR MILESTONE

Welcome, colleagues, to history in the making. What you see here is the very first video for level four to ever reach a score of less than ten (10) seconds. It is unlikely such a feat will ever be reaccomplished here at this stage, so show this video all the love you can!

I would like to deeply thank that person who sent out the 10.45 replay that inspired me to edit that strategy into this. Whoever you are, I can't thank you enough. I hope that one day you traverse across the Internet and run across this video!

Also, thanks to all of those that believed in me. Especially Sword of Seals and mudi. Had I not had encouragement to continue, I'd have probably just released my video of 10.45 and called it a day. Thank you.

Some closing words. This ending is the result of four days of continuous change. I altered the last tarets by myself multiple times just to reach this. (a rough count would be 5 times at the least) I am very proud of this accomplishment, and I hope that everyone does their best to spread this video around. I normally allow my videos to just subside, but I don't think video should. ;)

Anyways. Thanks again to the mentioned above. Perhaps in a day or two I'll upload a compilation video showing the road to sub 10. (10.01 being my last best score in the video before sub 10, of course) This way you can see all of the strategy tweaks. =D

This record has been thwarted by an unknown player. Sakurai updated Smashbros.com and the record for Toon Link on stage four is now 9.05. I've started looking for the strategy, but I don't think I'll continue for much longer. The video will eventually end up in Japanese Smash Service soon anyway. ^_^
