  • they dont want power or control, they said! theyre perfectly normal people, they said! servants to the people, they said!

  • Does it tell us more about a congressman or his party when he'd rather assault a kid with a video camera than admit his party loyalties?

  • @greggymcgurks Given the fact that so many Democrats have been extremely rude and defensive when questioned about Obama's policies, I would say it says alot about both the man and his party. The man realizes the party's policies are indefensible, and doesn't want to have to defend them.

  • this is borderline pedophilia. a 50+ year old guy grabing and holding onto a 20-25 year old in public?

  • I would have made sure the assault was clearly recorded on the other guys camera and had his ass arrested. He can get first hand experience while in jail, at how rude it is to grab someone like that, because once the other criminals realize he is a congressmen, I am sure they will make good use of this public servant. Of course he wont be talking about that in public either.

  • @wraycofan I think it tells us more about him as a person then the party he represents because treating a person like that does not fall in line with the beliefs of Democrats.

  • In the Congresman's defense, you can't just walk up and sabatoge someone with a question and when the questioned simply wants to know "who are you?" all you say is "I'm a student (But will not say were you are a student)" This is a move straight out of the O'Keefe playbook. Tht being said. The Congressman should never have laid hands on the kid. Just politely decline and walk away.

  • @silversoftCEO yeah but still... if i was the student i would have just gave him the information. its just like if a robber had a gun to your head, and wanted to take some money. you would let him, and not say "hey, you have no right to take my money". but i see what your point is. the guy should respect the students right to ask him questions.

  • @starcatcher7777 There's a fart tax? Shiiiiit. I'm going to be bankrupt for the next 200 years.

  • @Smalldude08 Because it isn't their duty. They have the right to question the Congressman as they see fit. The Congressman has no right to lay his hands on them first and hold them hostage, as if they had tried to assault HIM.

  • why didnt they just tell who they were? just say "students from ____ school".... i dont understand this.
