The Apple iPad will help change education. Rock 'N Learn is excited to be working on some really cool educational apps, but for now it's easy to view samples of our educational videos. Just go to www.youtube.com/rocknlearn.

For those who say that tablet computing will revolutionize education, we believe that's more than just hype. Devices like the iPad will allow kids to get rid of those heavy backpacks that can cause severe back strain, especially when slung over one shoulder. Other factors: costs less than paper textbooks; helps the environment by reducing paper; provides a portable Internet experience better than phones and easier to carry than laptops; connects with a community of learners nearby or worldwide; assists teachers in the lofty goal of providing differentiated instruction; and offers interactive content that involves touch along with sight and sound. Another benefit is that eTextbooks will have videos, perhaps even cool videos like Rock N Learn! So if you have a new iPad, or even if you don't, we encourage you to go to Rock 'N Learn's YouTube Channel and discover our cool videos for fun learning. We will be adding more free content to play on an iPad along with our educational videos for rent (not yet offered on mobile devices).

  • The audio came out really nice - the iPad speakers seem loud and clear.

  • I dont know if i would use my iPad for exactly "educational" games :P

  • I am waiting for Ipad to include cameras then i will definitely will buy one for college.

  • No... The iPad is nothing new.

  • I especially like the point you make about the iPad replacing textbooks. This could have some really good benefits beyond just the most obvious one of it being light-weight. Video embedded in the text, interactive quizzes, and schools actually getting new editions more easily and less expensively. The future is now!

  • Ooooh, I want one!

  • iPad video looks really sharp, too.
