  • Fun gig.

  • I was a piano mover for Norm Kingsley in the 70's at 14 N 6th St Madison, WI, we moved piano for, I think it must have been Jim

  • Good LAWD!

  • Man, Corky, you still got it!

  • It's so fun seeing these videos....almost as good as being there......almost....

  • Used to catch these guys in the mid-60s at The Chessmate in Detroit. Been a believer ever since...

  • I saw Corky preform in Chicago, 1978??, along with Shawn Phillips headlining, can't remember much. ~I Think it Was the Wine~ A miracle we survived those days & can almost remember them ---- but the memories are still floating somewhere in the back of my brain.

  • I loved these guys when I was a teenager back in the '70s. I have carried around three of their albums for 30+ years waiting for a turntable to fall into my lap. I didn't think to try on U-Tube. I have spent the entire evening listening and watching. Thank you for the videos. This has been fun. I love these guys.

  • @BComp50

I also first saw these guys at the same show - Nov 6, 1970 - but it was Wilderness Road on the bill, not Mott the Hoople. Worm played first, then Siegel-Schwall, and even though Traffic was next up, the crowd brought 'em back for a couple of encores - finishing with this rave-up. During the equipment setup for Traffic, somebody shorted something out on stage, and the PA system was knocked out for a while. Traffic left early after a listless set, and Wilderness Road closed the show.

  • i used to see them in the Quiet Knight club on Rush Street in the 60's and 70's.

it's just terrific to see a good performance video of the band - A BIG thank you for posting these.
