THE VICIOUS LABOR UNIONS!!! LMAO!!! Funny how with this video they are trying to picture him like a noble guy. So, he believe is necessary to take away your rights, so he can do what he believe is correct.People with common sense don't believe this shit video and him.
@ishawnm don't forget that Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" on May 1, 2003. The invasion began March 19, so his "not ten years" prediction was based on official Bush administration claims that the 'war is over'. If they're so clouded in their "estimation" they shouldn't be talking, let alone going to war and killing people.
You try and excuse this guy's lack of authority, when the fact is he can't make a solid judgement. I'm no troll, search my name, chump.
@nicknormal The 60 billion was the estimation for 6 months of operations only, not ten years.
As for the budget director position, it was a position where he had no authority and was overridden on his suggestions, there were deficits but as governor where he DID have final say in the matter, there has been budget surpluses every year and that is to be ignored? Uh huh, whatever troll!
There are ridiculous special interests in Indiana, largely the unions, who flood every board with historical revision of our great governor's record. Unlike our neighbors, Indiana's economy is growing, our budget is balanced and our educational systems are healthy and strong. God bless you Gov, for holding us steady through the storm. Consider again, please, a run for the Presidency.
What isn't mentioned here is how Mitch and Director Payne cut over $100 million from the DCS budget, and children in need of services are now without help. They did this with a surplus in the budget already. It was an unnecessary cut, and is hurting the families of Indiana. Providers are shutting down all over the state.
There are two sides to this politician. Don't neglect to look into the dark side.
This guy was GW Bush's Budget Director. He took a 2001 $128+ billion budget surplus and turned it into a 2003 $377 billion budget deficit. This guy was also tagged with officially estimating the cost of the Iraq war. His guess, "in the range of $50 billion to $60 billion" - actual cost, over $800 billion. This guy can't balance a pencil laying flat on a table. Look away for a second and the pencil is broken.
