LOVE THE GOBY!!!!

live rock just needs saltwater and things like calcium, iodine and trace elements if you want but you dont have to, and you dont "grow" live rock, if you mean the corals then it depends on the coral, some just need light others meaty foods but you still need things like filters heater etc do some reasearch online for more info

Below is correct. Live rock is usually bought straight up. You can cure your own rocks in salt water, but that takes a really long time. Live rock just means there are marine organisms living within it, microscopic creatures. Just like live sand.

2 questions how do u put a heater in the back without moding the tank and when u do a water change is it bad for the water level to dip below the corals and anemonies?? PLEASE RESPOND

Yes, you have to cut out the divider from the top and bottom intake chambers, I didn't do that however. I have a protein skimmer there instead and my heater is in the main section of the tank. It is ok for your corals to be exposed to air as long as you're filling it back up at the same time, of course. It shouldn't harm your coral, mine are always fine.

thanks but did u keep the bioballs in the main chamber?? (where u put the heater)

What I mean by main section I mean where the fish and coral are. In the large back section, where the bioballs go, I have smaller pieces of live rock, as much as you can fit in there. It helps the tank to have as much rock as you can, even if it's not part of the reef.
