This is video of a 2-hour sled dog tour that I took, at Spray Lakes, near Canmore, Alberta, Canada, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains on February 14th, 2010. About 28 teams were running at the same time, under the operation of two dog sled companies. It was a blast. Each of our teams carried two passengers and one musher. The musher invited each of us to ride for a while on the back of the sled to "help" drive the team. That is me speaking on the video, asking our musher questions. What fun it was ! I left the short clip in near the start when the dogs were getting hooked up, where my friend unfortunately did not manage to run my video camera properly (argh!) while I held the dogs' line at the front. I left that short clip in to show the chaos of sound, as the 16 teams were barking and excited to get started. The dogs were quiet when running, but many barked or howled again at the point where we stopped for a break and a snack.
