@KateinaKing Please ignore my previous reply- it's wrong! The correct answer is 'Anchors Aweigh' (1945) with Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Kathryn Grayson. It's a story about 2 sailors who hit Hollywood finding Love. The shot you refer to is from the fantasy solo Tango sequence that Gene does for Kathryn Grayson- right before they have their first kiss. Very romantic lol! Apologies for the previous incorrect info- sorry! And thanks to 860313 again!

@KateinaKing Thats 'The Pirate' with Judy Garland- you can get it on DVD regions 2,1, or 4 (Ebay etc). It's a movie about a girl (Judy) who dreams/fantasises about meeting a dashing, brave, exciting guy who charges into the fray and who will sweep her off her feet (Gene). It's so-so as a movie (3/5), probably best remembered for Gene Kelly's 'be a clown' number with the Nicholas brothers (by Cole Porter). I hope this helps!
