Seeing this video made me fall in love all over again with Starsky and Hutch and reminds me why I fell in love with them in the first place. I have not seen any show, period, today, that captures the chemistry and charisma that these two men had with one another.Emmylou Harris & this song was a fine choice for this video. She has a hauntingly lyrical beauty to her voice. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed this....... I am re-watching the series on DVD and it is so nice to see love between two men that is pure & innocent. They actually care for each other, as they have remained friends over the past 35 years..... it seems as though their "chemistry" came across very well in the tv series. Thanks so much for posting this. I love Starsky and Hutch, captain Dobey and Huggy Bear too. I could not go see the movie - Starsky would never do coke & Hutch would never pee on the street.

Without the awesome chemistry between the two leads, Starsky & Hutch would have just been another cop show. I have the first and second seasons on disk. More than thirty years later, the love still touches...btw, I'm a man, and I know two men can genuinely love one another. Love never dies.

OMG!! this is so beautiful. and what a song you chose to show the special relationship these two men have. I grew up in the '70s and watched these two show their caring feelings for each other, and you nailed it in this video! beautiful! there is no other word for it

This video is EXCELLENT!!!! Made me cry. Our guys are so good together; wish they'd make a movie with them, not the ones who ruined the 2004 movie. (But I'm not prejudiced!!) haha

@BoldGirl8 I have watched the movie a few times, not because I like it, but to compare the series to the movie. You are absolutely right - They made fun of them! The only good part was the 2 minute cameo of our boys. Like DS said in an interview: "If you dropped your keys you would have missed us".

@peopleratrip You, what you wrote prompts me to think...because I really love the show and have since I was 14 (31 years ago!) And I did go to see the movie. It didn't offend me as a fan bc I considered it a parody. It was humorous in that way. I saw an interview of DS and PMG where the interviewer asked them if they think in this day and age S and H would do coke and PMG and DS said simultaneously "No" "Yes", respectively. I can only think DS was kidding, though!

@peopleratrip I feel the same way as you do. I also was not interested in seeing the movie. From what I heard about it, they seemed to be making fun of them and that didn`t interest me. I did enjoy the video on youtube when they did their cameo. Paul and David are still so darn sexy!
