My second out of two projects before Christmas. This was another of my learning track productions that I thought I might as well do video for. And finally, I've gotten around to mixing it and putting it together, right before christmas!

This song was written by a good friend of mine, and I want to credit him for the arrangement. He has written many lovely arrangements, as he is the associate director of the General Assembly Chorus in North Carolina. Please contact him for arrangement queries!

Enjoy!

Oh was the 'chris-sa-mas' thing written in or was that something you came up with? at 2:40

Anyways big fan here. Your tags with Tim Waurick, hell, in general, are AWESOME.

You've clinched it for me. I'm going to start multitracking. Keep it up!

  • The arrangement was written that way.

  • are you christian?

  • nope... How many non-christian christmas songs are there though? It feels like I already picked the only non-christian one in my previous video =)

  • Very good. Keep up the good work. Roy

  • @YaoiVixenBoi Agreed. Christ was born in April when shepherds & their flocks would have been out in the fields as opposed to the cold winters when they were much less likely to do so. And like any other birthday, when it is celebrated is not as important as what is being celebrated. Let me rephrase my previous comment: It's sort of difficult to compose a song about Christmas w/out it being Christian at heart (about Jesus Christ) since the entire point of the holiday is to celebrate His birth.

  • @diabeticderek actually the origination of the holiday that the catholic church coopted was the celebration of the winter solstice. The birth of Christ actually happened in the spring, probably sometime around April. The roman catholics changed the celebration of the winter solstice to celebrate Christ's birth because they were no longer "pagan" and could not celebrate "pagan holidays". The change to 'the mass of christ' was just one of convenience so they could continue celebrating december

  • @FineyLeee It's sort of difficult to compose a song about Christmas without it being Christian at heart (about Jesus Christ) since the entire point the holiday (originally at least) is obviously to celebrate his birth.

  • Holy cow YOU'RE AMAZING!! I love all of your videos! :)
