so I saw John Prine recently which resulted in my last post so now im thinkin green and this surfaces. Love the haunting nature of this song unfortunatly not captured in my version but surprised i could do anything close.was fun trying .the basic guitar part is actually simple so maybe someone out there will find the latter helpful.As for the vocal my apologies in advance. You should listen to the original on you tube.the latter allways gives me goose bumps.

I didn't think anyone could do a good cover version of this, but you sure changed my mind. As iwith a few other songs, your harmony brings a richness and depth to the sweetness of the original. I would go so far as to call your harmony "thoughtful." Impressive effort.
