Dont believe these white ppl. They lied about laos being beautiful. It is very very poor. Nothing seems to have changed since i left nearly 30 years ago. Dont get me wrong, I care about laos. But when i see all these videos of laos, i feel shameful. Dont you people ever ask youself why are we so backward??? looking at the children still living like it was 300 hundred years ago. The government, are you thinking at all??? Dont you guys feel ashame??? I guess not.

You just made a pretty racist comment about us. When we visited Laos, it was to see it and to enjoy its nature - you can't deny that it has some beautiful nature. This was not a political video or a documentary. If the video makes people discuss some of the things that are not right in Laos, then that's a good thing. Please don't judge us just because we went to Laos to see it - at least we know where your country is, and we tried to learn something about it.

just because a country is poor does't mean it can't beautiful in other ways....I think that's what they are talking about. I've been there before too, and it's still poor and for the most parts it's still undevelope, but it is beautiful in the sense of culture and spirit.

It called ViengChanh. NOT Vientian. I think the Laos government need to change to a correct word in Laos "ViengChanh".

When the French take over almost 100 years ago they dont even care about developed the Lao country and help the laos peoples with education. Every country they want to take everything from Laos and never want to help or support Laos peoples. Please look at the history.

@loso0008 Please compare Lao country to other country. Yes, Lao is poor. But remember our country have been destoryed by the French, Thais, Vientnam and Burma many century. I believe we are slowly growing and will get better.

Please have more compassion and be kind to yourself.

No matter what peoples say bad thing about Lao. I don care, because i love my peoples and our ancestor had been suffering so much. We should supports each other no matter what.
